The Vía de la Plata starts in Seville and makes its way up to Santiago de Compostela through Extremadura, Castilla y León and Galicia.
It’s about 1,000km long. There’s plenty of pilgrim accommodation but some of the stages are over 30km long, so it’s not for the faint-hearted!
